Monthly Social – Should we Pledge 10% to Charity?

January 16 at 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Donating is one of the most straightforward ways we can have more social impact. We’ll be discussing in what circumstances it makes sense to pledge to give 10% or whether it’s better to start with a smaller commitment or focus on careers and volunteering.

This is the time of year that many people take the Giving What We Can pledge to donate 10% of their income to the most impactful organisations they can find. Last year 318 people did so over the holidays, and Giving What We Can is running a pledge drive again this year.
